In early October 2002 we received news that "Love and Life Al Dente," was selected as a semi-finalist in the 9th Annual Writers' Network Screenplay and Fiction Competition. HERE IS A QUICK SYNOPSIS: "Love And Life Al Dente" is a romantic comedy. It’s the story of N. Robert Graham, the half WASP, half Sicilian head of marketing for Damon Foods of Boston, Massachusetts. This pasta and sauce conglomerate belongs to Robert’s Uncle, Anthony Damon. Damon, who has a stronghold on the Italian imported food business, wants his nephew to go to Sicily to try to acquire the Baroni Pasta Company, whose product Damon has tried and thinks could potentially put him out of business because it is so good. Graham, an aspiring musician who doesn't love the corporate world all that much, goes to Sicily. While there Graham finds a father he never knew, a love he never thought he could have and a collection of colorful characters which will delight and entertain young and old alike! |
