THE HISTORY OF GRIFFAL PRODUCTIONS Al Quagliata and John Griffin met back in 1997 when they both shared the same theatrical agent. One day while chatting with John at an audition, Al happened to mention a treatment for a screenplay called "Love And Life Al Dente", which Al’s late father, Al Quagliata Sr., had written. The screenplay for this treatment had never been written, and John expressed an interest in collaborating on the script. By August 1998 the first draft of "Love And Life Al Dente" was completed and Griffal Productions was born. The origin of the name Griffal Productions is really quite simple. Its a combination of "GRIFF" (from John GRIFFin) and "AL" (from AL Quagliata)! |
